Foundation/pathway options

It doesn’t matter where you want to go in your career, or if you don’t know exactly what you want to do yet. What matters is getting you started on the journey towards the sort of future you want for yourself, and building your skills and confidence.

Our Foundation programmes are ideal if you don’t meet the entry requirements for a specific course you want to study, you’re unsure of what programme to study, or if you’ve been out of study for a long time. You’ll graduate ready to jump straight into your next course, or with the confidence to use the skills you already have.

Whatever your goal is, we know you’re capable of achieving it. With a Foundation course, you’ll prove it to yourself.

Student accommodation

Looking for accommodation while you're studying? Come and live with us!

Wintec has three accommodation options to choose from:
  • If this is your first time away from home, you'll probably love the supportive environment with catered food available at Student Village.
  • If you're an international or mature student your best bet could be the Wintec Apartments where you can live on campus and choose to self-cater or purchase meals.
  • Or if you're a mature student with a partner or family, check out the Rotokauri Eco Village for an experience similar to renting.

Support services

As a Wintec student you've got a range of support services available to help with your life and studies ... here are just a few.

Our Student Advisors are your first point of contact if you need guidance or support. They work closely with all of our student support services and are a friendly face on campus to help navigate your journey.
Get the academic support you need to succeed: study skills, assignments, APA referencing advice, maths and science support and note-taking techniques.
