- 1:Apply best practice in the implementation of a range of complex companion animal medical nursing techniques.
2:Critically evaluate the implementation and outcome of nursing care assessment and treatment plans and adjust them accordingly, in line with the veterinary nursing scope of practice.
3:Analyse roles and responsibilities within a veterinary health care team in order to seek advice or delegate nursing care to others as appropriate. - Content
- -Critical thinking skills for the development, implementation and documentation of patient treatment plans

-Pathophysiology and treatment of common diseases in companion animals (e.g. cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds)
