To provide students with opportunities within a personal training simulated and/or clinical workplace setting for the advancement and application of their skills and knowledge in sport and exercise science. In particular, to provide the student with the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to put all the skills learned within the programme together in the professional practice setting at a level befitting a personal training professional

- On successful completion of this Module, it is expected that students will be able to:
1.0 Develop an awareness of the nature and scope of employment as a personal trainer through the application of clinical knowledge and skills in a simulated and/or workplace setting.
2.0 Demonstrate client-practitioner relationships and the use of professional protocols within the workplace setting.
3.0 Develop, implement, evaluate and adapt exercise programmes for a wide range of client groups including weight management, posture and core stability, sport performance, physical reconditioning, and special populations. identify and discuss
4.0 Apply appropriate instructor motivational, exercise adherence and intervention strategies to gain and retain client commitment to the programme
5.0 Demonstrate the ability to perform as a health and fitness professional, and to work collaboratively with other health and allied professionals. - Content

- To pass this module student must complete all assignments and accumulate an overall module mark of no less than 50.
