This module extends students' understanding and analysis of social problems/issues, as initiated in Introduction to Sociology, through an examinantion of the theories, techniques and processes of social policy development and analysis. Students will examine a range of approaches to social policy analysis and development and the relationships between Government, community, social sevices and wider society.
