- On completion of this course the student will be able to:
1.To prepare specialized landscape design projects for complex residential sites, within a range of budget constraints, including full design and detail and landscape reporting from Analysis through to Implementation,
2.Produce construction details appropriate to project implementation.
3.Prepare Project plans, resource schedules, timeframes and costings for project implementation
4.To work to real-time frames and deadlines as per industry norms
5.To Work on a group oriented project with specific responsibilities within the group. - Content
- Preparation of landscape design detail and documentation for more complex sites including;
1.Development of scaled planting plans and schedules.
2.Preparation of detailed construction drawings for a range of landscape features.
3.Preparation of written specifications.
4.Interpretation of written specifications.
5.Preparation of a schedule of works and resources for a landscape development project - Teaching and Learning Strategy
- Teaching and learning methods will include theory classes, tutorial sessions, practical sessions, group projects, written assignments, oral & practical and written tests.
- Assessment Criteria
- Students must attempt all assessments and Students need to attain a mark of 50 or above in their overall grade to obtain a pass.
