Prescription
To evaluate, develop and enhance technical knowledge and skills of veterinary nursing. Students completing this module will have had the opportunity to improve and develop their kowledge and skills gained from throughout the programme in an industry work environment, thus further preparing them for employment in an industry workplace.

Learning Outcomes
- Undertake all duties and tasks as described in their work placement agreement

- Maintain a reflective journal on their work performance which details daily activitiesand reflects on their own performance and plans for improvement

- Report their experience of the work environment, including details of arrangements and expectations of the work experience, details of the workplace and analysis of its relationships and activity in the industry, as well as how the work experience has assisted the transition into employment.

Learning and Teaching Resource
An extended reading list will be supplied by the lecturer at commencement of the module. This will be updated annually.
Assessment Criteria
Assessment Criteria: Achievement-based.

Students must attain an overall grade of 50 to pass this module.

Students must complete a minimum of 120 hours' work placement.
