Prescription
To manage the veterinary office and retail areas, including acting in the role of the senior veterinary nurse. To demonstrate advanced computer skills, manage the processes required for clinic accreditation, communicate practice policies and manage Human Resources within the veterinary practice.
Students completing this module will: manage processes required for clinic accreditation and interpret and communicate practice policies; take on the responsibilities of a senior veterinary nurse, including the management of new and existing staff; use advanced computer and office skills to produce professional handouts for clients and manage the veterinary office and retail areas efficiently.
