- 1. Apply knowledge and skills of physiological pregnancy and pathophysiology, to the management of underlying medical conditions experienced by the woman/wahine and/or baby, in midwifery practice.
2. Demonstrate professional, collaborative, culturally responsive and effective midwifery care in partnership with women/wahine and/or baby experiencing complexities.
3. Apply integrated midwifery knowledge and skills in relation to caring for the woman/wahine and/or baby experiencing conditions and complexities.
4. Examine interprofessional care for the woman/wahine and/or baby experiencing complexities due to underlying medical conditions. - Content
- Clinical placement (150 hours)

- The portfolio is comprised of multiple components.
Students need to provide evidence against all learning outcomes, and gain an overall mark of 50% to pass this module.
Students must meet all the clinical requirements, including evidence of a minimum of 150 hours clinical placement to be eligible to pass this module. - Teaching and Learning Strategy
