Prescription
The purpose of this module focuses on the investigation of painting practice at an advanced level. The student will examine strategies and concepts located in contemporary painting. The student will be expected to contextualise their study through reading, seminars and writing. The student will further examine and refine their understanding of how the meanings of particular techniques and materials are applicable in the context of this study.

2.1 Understand an integrated, reflective process for responding to visual situations
