? Procedures for responding and reporting
? Manual handling techniques
? Hazard identification and actions to minimise, isolate or eliminate hazards
? Personal protective equipment
? Accident and incident reports
? Customer and establishment security
? External contractors and access requirements
? First aid
? Communication practices for health and safety

Standard operating procedures:
? Procedures relevant to establishment requirements
? Code of conduct roles and responsibilities
? Levels of delegation and reporting requirements
? Environmental and sustainability requirements
? Personal presentation and confidentiality requirements
? Consequences of non-compliance
? Communication practices when applying standard operating procedures

Customer Service:
? Information about service requirements
? Customer interactions
? Advice and information to customers
? Communication practices for customer service
Assessment Criteria
This module is assessed using a mix of achievement-based and competency-based assessment. Students must meet the competency requirements of the embedded unit standards, attempt all achievement-based assessment tasks, gain a minimum mark of 80% for the practical assessment, and an overall mark of 50% in order to pass and receive credit for this module.

A reading and resources list will be supplied by the tutor at the commencement of the module. This will be updated annually. Resources will include:
