The aim of this module is to further develop student's skill in using computer aided design software to produce landscape design and detail plans.

Learning Outcomes
Effectively use Vectorworks Landmark for the production of graphical Landscape, and planting plans, with implementation details and budgets.
Produce technically correct construction detail plans for consent and building purposes for landscape elements.
Effectively use three dimensional modelling tools and commands to create landscape elements and details.
Use site modelling procedures to create simple three dimensional landscaped sites.
Content
-Vectorworks and Landmark application
-File importing into Vectorworks
-Vectorworks resource libraries, worksheets and reports
-Plant symbols, definitions, graphics and libraries
-3D Modelling tools and commands
-Construction detailing procedures, orthogonal drawing, views, cross-sections, dimensioning, fixing details, footing details, close ups, dimension layout plans
-Site modelling, stake objects, contours, grade and site modifiers
-Building drawing tools and commands, i.e. wall, windows, doors, roof, furniture libraries.
Teaching and Learning Strategy
Teaching and learning methods will be face to face delivery including; workshops, project-based interactive tasks, with group sessions, tutorials, on-line learning, work integration, and independent research for the creation of portfolios of evidence of learning.
Assessment Criteria
Portfolio of Evidence100
The weight of the overall assessment is equally distributed across learning outcomes.
The portfolio of evidence will demonstrate the achievement of the required knowledge, competencies and capabilities across all the learning outcomes.
Assessment is achievement based. Students need to attempt all elements of the assessment and gain at least 50 in each element of the portfolio to gain an overall pass in this module
