Use an effective range of communication and reporting skills for relationship management with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and fellow team members.
Analyse appropriate leadership styles in Landscape operations and establish strategies and behavioural standards to manage relations with relevant parties.
Maintain quality customer relations through the development of customer service strategies.
Content
-Relationship management with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, handling critique, resolving conflict, finding solutions.
-Communication skills; verbal presentations, explanations, itemising, negotiating, paraphrasing, selling, reasoning, voice.
-Leadership, mentoring, motivating team members.
-Reporting; written presentation, language, professionalism, graphs, spreadsheets, flow charts, satisfaction surveys.
-Entrepreneurship; skills in starting a new business in the landscape field, building and maintaining a client base.
-Researching formal and informal, establish customer needs and preferences.
-Target customer groups.
-Customer service strategies.
Teaching and Learning Strategy
Teaching and learning methods will be face to face delivery including; workshops, project-based interactive tasks, with group sessions, tutorials, on-line learning, work integration, and independent research for the creation of portfolios of evidence of learning.
Assessment Criteria
Portfolio of Evidence100
The weight of the overall assessment is equally distributed across learning outcomes.
The portfolio of evidence will demonstrate the achievement of the required knowledge, competencies and capabilities across all the learning outcomes.

Assessment is achievement based. Students need to attempt all elements of the assessment and gain at least 50 in each element of the portfolio to gain an overall pass in this module.
