Drawing Through the Camera

This module explores the relationship between drawing and photography as a means of discovery and depiction. The student will explore both expressive and descriptive qualities available through conventional photographic media. The student will experiment with a variety of photographic techniques and media to develop an understanding of how three dimensional objects and space can be translated into photographic images, and to explore the application of gesture to photographic surfaces.
