The purpose of this module aims to help the student develop skills for reasoning effectively and independently in practical real-life situations. The student will be encouraged to understand and evaluate arguments of increasing complexity, enabling them to develop critical standards of assessment and judgement to apply to their own thinking and writing and to the mass media.
