Job applicants may bring whānau or a support group to their job interview. Please let us know how many are attending before the interview so we have seating for everyone.
The interview chairperson will lead the interview, and to ensure fairness and consistency for all candidates, the following format is usually followed:
- Whānau/support members are welcomed and have the opportunity to respond.
- The chairperson will introduce the interview panel, and the panel will interview the candidate, finishing with an opportunity for the candidate to ask any questions.
- Whānau/support members will be invited to speak about the candidate and their suitability for the position.
- The chairperson will indicate when the interview is complete. Whānau/support members will be thanked and will have an opportunity to make any final comments.
